1980's Kawai F2B FIIB Bass
This 1980’s Kawai F2B FIIB, featuring passive electronics, is a neck-through body instrument full of tone and easily playable. Inspired by Alembics of yore, it will scratch that itch, and take you back to school days.
Body: Zebrawood/Maple in dark stain finish.
Neck: Laminated Maple/Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 34” scale length, 1.5” nut width, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Kawai passive P bass pickups, Gotoh tuning keys, brass bridge, black dome knobs, acrylic nut. The stap pin has been moved to the back from the upper horn.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches on the body, and a few small dents. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
