2016 1959 Reissue Gibson Les Paul Standard Ice Tea Burst

The 1959 Les Paul is known in musician circles as the Holy Grail of Guitars, and thanks to this spot-on reproduction, you can have one of your very own. This Gibson Custom 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS is built from heavenly tonewoods, including a solid mahogany body, a beautifully figured maple top, and an Indian rosewood fingerboard. Inject your playing with authentic PAF tones, courtesy of Custom Bucker pickups and a handwired harness with paper-in-oil capacitors. This true-to-life re-creation also boasts hide-glue construction, a long neck tenon, and vintage-style Kluson tuners. A gorgeous, thin VOS nitrocellulose lacquer finish completes this 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue.

Body: Lightweight Mahogany with a 2-piece Flame Maple top.

Neck: Mahogany with an Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75 ” scale length, 1.687” nut width, 22 frets, Cellulose Nitrate Trapezoid inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Custombucker pickups, vintage style Kluson tuning keys, ABR-1 bridge, light-weight tailpiece, original knobs, nylon nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The guitar does suffer a bit of analine dye bleed over into the binding which is not uncommon from reissue guitars. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
