2001 Modulus 5-String Genesis Bass

Summary: This 2001 Modulus 5-String Genesis Bass, a collaboration with the one and only Michael Tobias of MTD. This bass features a quilted maple top, the famous graphite T-Bar the length of the neck for reinforcement, Hipshot bridge, and Bartolini Jazz style pickups and preamp, which features volume, blend, treble, mid and bass. The playability and tone of this bass are exceptional, one can get whatever tone you need, plus a lovely fingerstyle tone that cuts through without being harsh or unnatural sounding. 

Body: Alder with quilted Maple top in gloss Natural finish.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 35” scale length, 1.8” nut width, 22 frets. 

Pickups/Hardware: Bartolini Jazz style pickups, 18 volt preamp, Modulus tuning keys, Hipshot bridge, black knobs, graphite nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body, and some dents and dings (pictured). The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
