This 2002 American Vintage '57 Stratocaster, based on a landmark year for the instrument - has evolved from its early incarnations into an archetype - and it was the high point of the maple-neck era Fenders. Features include an alder body, '57/'62 pickups, three-way switching (5 wayswitch included), beveled pickup magnets, ashtray bridge cover and single-ply pickguard.

Body: Alder in 2 color Sunburst finish.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.65” nut width, 21 frets, black dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Pickups: Bridge- Fender American Vintage Single-Coil, Middle: Fender American Vintage '56 Single-Coil Strat, Neck: Fender American Vintage Single-Coil Strat,, 6-in-Line American Vintage tuning keys, 6-saddle American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge, aged white plastic knobs,synthetic bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has surface scratches on the body, scuffs and dents on the edges. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash and a pleasant reli’d scratch. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
