2006 Epiphone Les Paul Standard
This 2006 Epiphone Les Paul Standard features the classic Mahogany body with set Mahogany neck construction, capped off with a Maple veneer top, setting the stage for ultimate tone and feel. Two Burstbucker humbucking pickups deliver big slabs of the fat, warm tones, transcontinental sustain, and deep, soulful distortion that made this guitar famous. Outfitted with a Tune-O-Matic bridge, Grover tuners, dual volume and tone controls, and a 3-way switch that all collectively allow you to easily dial in the perfect tone and stay in tune. Topped off with stunning pearloid trapezoid inlays and a beautiful Sunburst finish that perfectly accentuates the Maple top.
Body: Mahogany with Maple top in Tobacco Sunburst finish.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.69” nut width, 22 frets, pearl trapezoid inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Dual Burstbucker pickups, Grover tuning keys, tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, gold top hat knobs, bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches and tiny impressions on the body, and a few tiny chips on the back of the headstock. The back of the neck has a few impressions in it, that do not affect playability, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has very light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
