2023 Epiphone Thunderbird IV Bass

This 2023 Epiphone Thunderbird IV Bass with its distinctive mahogany body and fast 34"-scale neck give a great combination of striking looks and unbeatable playability. Two well-placed pickups put out plenty of volume, plus tonality that ranges from thick to punchy. It is lightweight and very comfortable for holding down the bottom end onstage while remaining thick and substantial, pushing everything from growling tones to funky punch.

Body: Mahogany in Antique Varnish finish.

Neck:  Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 34” scale length, 1.73” nut width, 20 frets, pearl dot inlays.

 Pickups/Hardware: Epiphone TB Plus humbucker pickups, die cast tuning keys, flush stoptail tailpiece, black speed knobs, black plastic nut.

 Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has very light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has very light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
